KYUEI MELON PAN
A moment to unwind in the city.
Set along Tsukishima's Monja Street, KYUEI MELON PAN specializes in freshly baked goods to take away, led by its signature crisp-crusted melonpan alongside apple pies and mini croissants.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Situated along Monja Street in Tsukishima, KYUEI MELON PAN is a takeaway bakery serving freshly baked breads and pies. The signature melonpan stands out for its interplay of textures: a crisp, crumbly cookie crust wrapped around an airy, tender interior. Each bite brings rich buttery notes and a gentle sweetness, remaining light to eat despite its generous size.
Beyond the melonpan, the counter features a selection of pies, including a lightly sweetened apple pie, a chocolate pie baked with chocolate bars, and a sweet potato pie. Petite croissants are sold individually or in multi-piece boxes, with plain, caramel, and chocolate varieties available. Crispy rusks made from melonpan crusts also line the shelves, well suited for an everyday snack or a small gift.
The shop operates strictly for takeout with no seating, but service moves briskly, making it convenient when pressed for time. Staying open until 22:00 at night, it is an easy stop on an evening walk or after a meal of Tsukishima monjayaki.
